Mr. Fornell worked as a Business Manager
for Cadence Design Systems (NYSE: CDN), Inc., the world's
largest design services company, with responsibility
for the CDMA and TDMA product lines. He has worked extensively
with a multitude of companies, from start-ups to tier-one
cell phone manufacturers. His experience includes working
with clients on defining cellular phone and location-based
products and strategies, setting strategic direction
for the business area, and identifying technology trends,
third-party suppliers and strategic partners. He also
served as Cadence’s representative for the Universal
Wireless Communications Consortium (UWCC) and CDMA Development
Group (CDG). Previously, Mr. Fornell worked at Meridian
Wireless Technologies, where he was Director of Engineering
with responsibility for their GSM product development.
He also worked for L.M. Ericsson AB (NASDAQ: ERICY),
in Sweden, as a digital designer and at Mentor Graphics
(NASDAQ: MENT), with engineering responsibility for
their Digital Simulation Product line. Mr. Fornell has
an M.B.A equivalent from the University of Göteborg,
Sweden, and an Engineering Degree from Polhem School
of Technology in Göteborg, Sweden.
